InfoVision Optoelectronics (Kunshan) Co., Ltd.

Jointly founded by Kunshan Guoxian Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. and IVO holding Limited on July 12, 2005, InfoVision Optoelectronics Kunshan Co., Ltd. is located in the National Grade Optoelectronics Industry Park of National Grade Kunshan Economic and Technological Development Zone. Total investment was 1.6 billion USD, and Guoxian took 51% of equities.IVO holding InfoVision Electronics (Kunshan) Co., Ltd.and ViewSil Microelectronics (Kunshan) Limited. The company is a high and new technology enterprise, the third in China engaging in the R&D, manufacturing and sales of G5 LCD panels.

IVO currently has a monthly processing capacity of more than 120,000 pieces of glass substrates, the biggest domestic enterprise in terms of manufacturing scale of G5 TFT-LCD. Total employees of the company registers nearly 4,000, 70&% of which have education background of junior college and undergraduate level or above. Besides, there are professional experts of the industry from Japan and Taiwan as well as many domestic talents for the R&D and production management.

IVO was the first to kick off product transformation and upgrade the industry compared to domestic competitors, expanding from 3 categories of panels for notebook computers, desktop computer monitors and LCD TV sets to 6 categories, incorporating new categories such as vehicle-mounted IPC and consuming electronics (smart phones, tablet computers) products, covering 1.77 inch-27 inch region. IVO applies leading technologies in new products to increase their added values of product and realize differential competition. Meanwhile, IVO actively develops cutting-edge technologies such as On-Cell touch, oxide TFT, 3D display and blue phase liquid crystal, etc, to enhance the core competitiveness of the company. IVO undertakes the important mission of boosting a new-round economic development of the country and is unfolding a magnificent blueprint of China’s own liquid crystal industry.

Sticking to the philosophy of communication, convergence, succession, innovation and leading, IVO has always been working on the R&D of self-owing technologies and core patents, introducing, digesting, absorbing and re-innovating technologies and constantly creating the company’s own intellectual properties. Meanwhile, IVO put in huge investment for the establishment of scientific and technological research platform, founding successively national-grade post-doctoral research center, Jiangsu Province (IVO) flat panel display technology research institute, Jiangsu Province Thin Film Transistor LCD Engineering Technology Research Center, Jiangsu Province Corporate Technology Center, etc, and serves as the first Chairman Unit of “Jiangsu Province Flat Panel Display Industry Innovation Strategy Alliance” which was co-founded by 34 backbone enterprises in Jiangsu Province and famous domestic universities.

In National Grade Kunshan Optoelectronics Industry Park, with the backbone of IVO’s medium-class panels projects, there gathers upstream supporting industries such as glass substrates, driver IC, polarizing plate and backlight, etc, and downstream supporting industries such as display terminals, gradually forming gradually most complete model basis of TFT industry in China.
